Weaving to Connect
This is Day 13 of 25 Days of Paper and Day 82 of my 100 x 100 Paper Weavings Project.
This is a weaving of a mystery paper with a sheet from Hiromi Paper’s asarakusui series. Today, I’m stretching the definition of a weaving, but I think you can you tell what I’ve done to connect the sheets. There is no glue on the front side of either sheet.
Today I want to share the work of artist Diane Jacobs with you, because she has done several pieces that incorporate weaving paper. Enjoy these works and then check out the rest of her work on her website.
Do you know of other artists who weave paper? Please leave their names in the comments section below.
