I take interns who are interested in learning about the papermaking process in exchange for helping out around the studio. I offered one paid internship each year; please inquire.

Local interns usually come in one day a week and out-of-town internships range from 2-4 weeks in length. I’ve had interns from around the world: Maryland Institute College of Art, the University of Alabama, Savannah College of Art & Design, California, Oregon, Memphis and India.

My well-equipped professional papermaking studio is located in Red Cliff, Colorado. Equipment includes a David Reina 2 lb hollander beater, Western & Eastern moulds & deckles ranging in size from 8×10″ up to 4’ x 6’, a hydraulic press, and a restraint drying system.
