This event will kick off registration for The Paper Year (more info below) and pre-sales for Helen’s new book, Weaving With Paper. Helen will speak about both, and then we will make our Book Weavings.

You will need the following tools & materials:
- 2 sheets of letter-size paper for the weaving (decorative, plain colors, or one of each). These should both be the weight of magazine pages.
- A book to display your weaving on (optional)
- Pencil
- Craft knife
- Cutting mat
- Scissors
- Bone folder
- Ruler
- White glue
- Glue brush
- Small piece of plastic (2” x 5”-ish) from a yogurt container, plastic placemat, notebook cover, etc. This will become a mini cutting mat (optional).
